ALIVE AGAIN

It's time to step out the door

to face the outside

to live on my own terms 

not the ones they try to force on you

to experience with out fear

to choose whats best fo me

I'm alive again i feels good!

The future looks bright

even the obstacles are challenges

strength has replaced anger

assurance has replaced doubt

and freedom has replaced helplessness

knowledge has become power

my mind has become strong

I know my rights

I am discovering who I am

and what my real limitations are

I can love myself, trust myself

what I've waited for all this time

from every one else

are the gifts I can give myself

patience understanding accepteance

love encouragemant and freedom

it's what we give ourselves

not what others give us

that gives life!
